The Cirris 4250 cable tester has been integrated into our inspection processes to verify quality. This equipment allows for continuity testing of both Low Voltage and High Voltage 100 to 1500 VDC ± 5%, 50 to 100 VDC ± 5V. All cable and harness assemblies are tested for opens, shorts, miswires and intermittent errors.
Custom test fixtures allow for testing of a wide variety of harness and cable assemblies, ensuring a quality built product is handed over to our customer. In addition to the test requirements dictated by Bevy Electronics, the 4250 provides the opportunity to integrate many customer dictated test requirements.
Crimps are tested to manufacturer's pull force specifications as an additional check to calibrated tools, ensuring mechanical crimp connections are secure and to spec.
Visual inspections are performed to the industry standards as outlined in IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, IPC/WHMA-A-620 REquirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, IPC J-STD-001 Joint Industry Standard, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, etc.
